Your first sign-in

A five-minute tour of what you'll see the first time you log into Together as an org admin.

Before you start

You need:

If you haven't signed up yet, create your account at /get-started. It walks you through name + org, then optional CRM and Stripe connect — about five minutes end-to-end. You'll land back here once you're through.

Step 1: The dashboard

After signing in you land on your dashboard. It's the only screen that always shows your name and organisation in one place, so it's a useful anchor. Lost? Click the Together logo to come back.

The Together dashboard immediately after sign-in: navigation sidebar, organisation switcher, and an empty data state.
What you see when you first sign in.

A few things to notice.

Top-left. The concept nav: Donors, Donations, Intelligence, Engage, Compliance. The lock icon next to Intelligence and Compliance means your plan doesn't include those modules. Clicking through shows an upgrade prompt, not an error. Nothing is broken.

Top-right. Your organisation name (Quoll Enjoyment Department in this tour) and your avatar. The gear icon takes you to settings. The avatar handles sign-out and personal preferences.

The cards. Each one is a single click into the concept it summarises. The numbers fill in as you add data. On day one they're all zero, except Compliance ("All clear"), which is the no-news-is-good-news state.

Your dashboard reflects what your role can see. ADMIN sees all of it, EDITOR sees most of it, VIEWER sees the read-only slice. If a card you expected is missing, your role is probably narrower than admin. Ask whoever invited you.

Step 2: Engage and Forms

Click Engage, then Forms. Every donation form your org has lives here.

The Engage forms list page showing one donation form named "Support our work".
The Engage forms list.

The form table shows four things per row.

ColumnWhat it means
NameThe internal name you gave the form. Donors never see this.
SlugThe public URL. /donate/general is what you share. The slug is editable but URLs are sticky. Change it and existing links 404, so settle the slug early.
StatusDRAFT, ACTIVE, PAUSED, or ARCHIVED. Only ACTIVE forms accept donations. DRAFT forms are previewable while signed in but invisible to the public.
RevenueLifetime gross collected through this form.

The orange banner at the top, "Stripe Connect onboarding is not complete", is the most common day-one blocker. Until you finish that flow at Settings -> Stripe, donors can see your form but the Pay button at checkout won't work. Finishing Stripe onboarding is the next thing on your list.

What to do next

A reasonable order for new admins:

  1. Connect Stripe at Settings -> Stripe. Donations only settle once this is done.
  2. Brand your forms at Settings -> Branding. Your donate pages look generic until you do.
  3. Invite your team at Settings -> Users. They get an invitation email and pick their own password.
  4. Share your first form by copying the public URL from the slug column.

Each step has its own how-to under Getting started. This tour was just the orientation.
