Refund policy
How refunds work for Together subscriptions and for donations processed through the platform.
Together Giving Pty Ltd (ABN 69 696 704 604) provides two distinct things: a software subscription to our customers, and donation processing for the donors who give to those customers. Refunds work differently for each.
Subscription fees
If you believe you have been billed in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate. Where we have over-charged, we will refund the difference to the original payment method.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future charges; we do not refund the unused portion of the current billing period unless we have failed to deliver the service materially as described.
Platform fees on donations
The platform fee Together charges on each processed donation funds the running of the service. Where a donation is refunded to a donor in full (see below), the platform fee on that donation is also refunded.
Donations
Donations made through Together are received by the organisation you donated to, not by Together. Refund requests for donations should be directed to that organisation in the first instance; their contact details are on the receipt.
If the organisation agrees to refund a donation, they can issue it from their Together dashboard. The refund returns to the original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days.
We will refund a donation directly only in limited circumstances: clear duplicate charges, demonstrable fraud, or where required by law.
How to request a refund
- Subscription billing question: email billing@alltogether.giving with the invoice number.
- Donation refund: contact the organisation you donated to. Their email is on your receipt. If you cannot reach them, email hello@alltogether.giving and we will help route the request.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank without first contacting us, the chargeback process applies. We will respond to the bank with the relevant transaction evidence. Disputing a legitimate charge may result in additional fees from the card network.
